In this service we hear again of the events of the Last Supper that Jesus shares with his disciples in the upper room of the house where they were staying.  We have on view around the altar the symbols of that night; a bowl and ewer, a plate with bread on and cup with wine in to remind us of those events.  At the end of the service after we have joined in Holy Communion, the Christian version of the Last Supper, we say together the words of Psalm 22 and then move into the South Aisle which is lit only in candlelight as we go into the "garden" to watch and to pray for a while.
