Junior Church

At St Mark's Church we believe that children, young people and their families are a vital part of the church family and are the future of the Christian faith. Junior Church at St Mark's is about helping children to know about the reality and love of God and what this may mean for them. We try to inspire them to want to know Jesus. We aim to teach about the Christian Faith in an enjoyable and thoughtful way so that the children's spirituality is nurtured. All children and young people are welcome to come to Junior Church.

At most 10 o'clock services (that are not family services).

Children leave Church with the leader of their group during the first hymn and return for Holy Communion with their parents.

There is also a Toy Corner in church (North Aisle) for pre-school and Reception children.

During the school holiday there will be no Junior Church groups but there will be a toy corner in the north aisle of the church for Reception and pre-school children.
