Our doors can open, welcome!

Since the relaxing of Covid rules recently there are a number of changes that have been made at St Marks whilst at the same time we want to keep people as safe as possible and cater for as many people as possible. The main changes are:

  • no longer a need to book a place to come to worship on Sunday
  • we are lifting the 2m social distancing requirement in favour of 1m+
  • we still require people to wear masks and sanitise when entering and leaving the building and before receiving communion
  • we will also see the welcome return of singing.

All the measures we are putting in place are too many and too complex to outline briefly, please download and read the document PCC Measures post 19 July 2021 which has a comprehensive list of everything you might need to know.

There are a couple of other things that are changing soon.  This Sunday will be the last Virtual Coffee.  We will be stopping Virtual Coffee for August due to the holidays and then hope to be offering refreshments in church from September onwards.  Next Wednesday, 28th July will be the last time we will be streaming the 10.00am BCP Communion service.  This again is partly due to the holidays but also down to the very small numbers watching from home.  All our other streamed services remain in place.

The online services will only appear just before the times given.

Click this link for our ‘Services During Lockdown’ for further details of our other services.
