Worship at St Mark's

Worshipping God is one of the three elements of our vision at St Mark’s. More than that, it’s the primary reason the Church exists in our world. Giving God worship, or literally “worth-ship”, is both a joyful response to all he has given us and an acknowledgement of our need for God in our lives.

Worship takes many different forms at St Mark’s. For most people, ‘worship’ means gathering in church for one of our weekly services, or our annual cycle of Special Services and festivals. The wide variety of music on show at our services is show cased on our Music page. This page gives more information about our choir, organ  and our music group.

We have an active Bellringing group who worship God by ringing our historic peal of six bells. Why not find out more on their page.

Prayer is a key part of a Christian's faith. At St Marks many members are part of Prayer Triplets who gather together to spend time in prayer. We also have a Healing Prayer Team and a Prayer Support Group, for times when individuals need prays said for them. For more information visit our Prayer page.

As well as regular prayer and worship, we believe that reading God's word is a vital part for Christian growth. To find out more go to our Bible Reading Fellowhip page.
